“To become a participant of the Divine being”, to become deified). Therefore, theology that is not correlated with spiritual (practical, aimed at knowing) life (and does not serve it) – is idle talk.
You reproach me: why do I spend so much time and ink on organizational issues (especially in Part I), on clarifications, explanations, why (very often) several times (naturally, differently) talk about the same thing – said once and enough… If we have been acquainted and friends for a hundred years, know each other and understand without words – organizational questions become wasteful. But when we meet for the first time, if we want to show love for each other, we must endure until “marriage”, not immediately “lie down” in a verbal bed (i.e., not violate the verbal forms in which the neighbor dresses his thoughts – see Part I – when I use someone else’s form for utilitarian purposes, to insert my own meaning, to hear myself, not to understand the other – that is verbal adultery). To understand each other at the level of using terms, concepts – to understand what is being talked about, and then understand the purpose of speech – why these chats, what they lead to… How many lectures are read, that neither the lecturer nor the students know why this is; one reads, because he has such a program – nothing can be done!?, and they listen (where can you escape from the auditorium – absences must be made up, so they have to sit!?). Therefore, the lecturer (and if he forgets, then students, who want to acquire knowledge, must remind him to do this:) must at the beginning of each lecture (not be lazy and not spare time, because he, say, needs to read a lot…) say in a few words, what practical and theoretically-conceptual significance at the global and local dimensions (of a certain science and reality as a whole) has the word (information) he will be delivering (or preaching), and at the end of the lecture (or during) – demonstrate the connection with real life of what he is talking about. Now I speak with sadness about the so-called spiritual (in which about spiritual life – neither hearing nor spirit, rational, abstract deadwood, with few exceptions) schools (where they talk about the most important – salvation), Sunday schools. How many in such schools (“spiritual”) empty (empty) subjects, where the lecturer is bored by what he reads, and about the students – I am silent; but what to do: need to read out!? But the saddest thing is when (seemingly) the most important subjects, which every Christian (not to mention future pastors) must know – are presented in the same way!?
My task: to share with you what I have and to bring you benefit (because for me what I say is very important; at one time I very much lacked it – when I was groping and no one among those Christians (including priests – they had no business with me, to sit down and talk with me; and thinking and asking questions no one taught me at that time and I was not yet mature, but need to live here and now, – thanks to the merciful God, who preserved me during those difficult times of spiritual struggle!), who knew me, did not open my eyes to reality) and – not to harm. Therefore I write about what is very dear (precious) to me and I want you to understand me correctly (me, not yourself, listening to me). So endure, to have some fruit, and be judicious, enduring in prayers.
You will say: and this you call almsgiving (love in this form of existence manifests itself in mercy)?! You poor thing: you give two mites and think to enrich or make someone happy, or at least quench hunger or thirst a little?! (My task: not to quench thirst or hunger, but to provoke them, at least a little… – not now about that). If you are an aristocrat of the Spirit (Holy), a billionaire, forgive me that by my mercy I offended you! But for one who is truly poor (in spirit) – two mites are a treasure! So, if you are a magnate of the Spirit – do not waste time (we are discussing the basics, the compulsory minimum for every Christian; we live on crumbs that fall from the table of the Spiritual Rich). But if you are poor, hungry, thirsty (remember: better to be hungry than to eat something poisonous, deadly and quench hunger with it! The main thing is not to quench hunger or thirst, the main thing is to Live), or if you, to acquire (better to say: accept) the Treasure, lack these two mites, then please…
