Thus, objective Happiness is given to all of us! And if we are not Happy, it is only because we do not repent (we do not want to be Happy – after all, all obstacles on the path to Happiness are destroyed)! Repent! Believe in the Gospel – the Kingdom of God has come, It is among you and in you, so enter into It through repentance!
P.S. A preacher who proclaims the Gospel doesn’t start his proclamation (that is, what he proclaims) with words like “John Chrysostom said…” or “Apostle Paul said…” The person being preached to will immediately ask: who is John Chrysostom, Apostle Paul… who are these people?! And why should I trust them?… And you, explaining who these men are, start “proclaiming” about them (about their words, their experience), not about Jesus Christ, the incarnate God (whom you have encountered)… Because if a person knows about Apostle Paul, John Chrysostom… then you are already building on someone else’s foundation (that is, declaring where it has already been declared), or you are no longer a preacher, but someone who rejoices together in common faith. Unfortunately, this booklet, like the previous one, is not about rejoicing together in faith in Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God (the Holy Spirit), which has come in power, but it is a proclamation of the Gospel to the “orthodox” (“orthodoxy” is proclaimed to the orthodox). Since our humble efforts are about proclaiming the Gospel, not rejoicing together, there are few quotes in this part (as in the previous one). In communicating with me, you should (if you want to benefit from communication) first understand what I am saying, what I am proclaiming, and only then ask: who else thinks or knows like you do? (Because if we, preachers, all speak at once, and moreover in different cultural languages, you will neither hear me nor understand them. So try to listen to your conversation partner, if they interest you, and if not, then why should you be interested in their friends?!). And when you, having made an effort, understand Whom I proclaim, then at your request I will show hosts and hosts of witnesses of the same experience and knowledge, who in different epochs, under different conditions and in different ways of life, testified about God-Love, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (and in Jesus theirs (resurrection), that is, all of us), Eternal Life, given to us in Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit.
We are used to hiding behind other people’s words, other people’s experiences, and how rarely (it happens that) we speak heart to heart (but whoever doesn’t try will never learn!). He who wants to know the truth about himself must learn this art of simplicity. But to calm our hearts, in one of the following parts, where we will talk about the faith of the Church expressed in the Law of Church Prayer (we will take the period of the Lenten and Flower Triodion, that is, the worship from the preparatory Sundays to Great Lent to Pentecost), we will call on witnesses of those who know God (but not hosts, because there won’t be enough paper and space in the world to contain these books).
