(IV) 11.Conditions for Baptism in the Holy Spirit or the Fulfillment of Prayer

In the previous part (III part) we testified that now the very feeling of destruction and experiencing Christianity as salvation seems to have evaporated, and although “Christians” repeat the words “Savior”, “salvation”, “to save”, “save us”, but their meaning is exclusively earthly (salvation in this life, for a happy life in this life, rescue from dangers for a comfortable animal life in II f. and. – from diseases, wars, catastrophes, hunger, terrorism, despotism, poverty, etc.; but not salvation from hell-hell to the Kingdom of God, from sin (and symptoms-passions) of selfishness-pride for the freedom of the essence-personality, from eternal death of godlessness for union with God-Love, etc.)36.

(Salvation is not to be sought on a sinking ship (see, for example, “war for the cabins” in part III) – not in this world, not for a “happy” life in this world – but from the sinking ship into the Church, the Kingdom of God; not to exchange one dream for another, one illusion for another, but to rise from the dead, to awaken from sleep into conscious life in the Holy Spirit, in the Light of the Eighth Everlasting Day. “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you with the Holy Spirit” (see Eph. 5:1-21)). Therefore, we are all already saved (objectively), we all abide in the Kingdom of God in Christ, but we still all need to be saved, that is, to accept the gift of salvation, to accept the Kingdom of God, to be baptized in the Holy Spirit! Salvation can be accepted only by one who feels the need for salvation; the Holy Spirit can be received only by the poor in spirit. There are few now who need salvation from the bondage of sin, death, decay, godlessness, and therefore there are few Christians – those who have accepted the gift of Salvation, the Kingdom of God, which is given to all, but only those who needfully desire it accept it! God respects the freedom of each essence-personality and grants Salvation (the Holy Spirit) only to those who want to be saved-healed (united with the Lord Jesus Christ, with God) and express their desire in supplication-prayer (“day and night”) and alms! Let us emphasize once more that the prayers of the announced are not recitations of akathists, canons, prayer rules… but supplications (with all their being, from the depths of need, poverty of spirit, destruction, from the depths of hell (“keep your mind in hell…”)) for salvation, rescue!

The task of the announcement is to help a person recognize their destruction, to invoke the need for salvation. The announced fights with passion, fervently prays, cries out to God for salvation (“day and night”), and receives help from the Lord (the announced knows for sure that it was not they who won, but only God by His mercy). And so, on the level of the symptoms of sin (passions), they come to know their weakness and the great love of God! Until they fully humble themselves (completely lose hope in themselves, until they entirely renounce themselves) and give themselves to God, only then does God conceive such a person by the Holy Spirit for the Kingdom of God!
