Now stop again and in the light (or semi-darkness, or darkness) of what was said above about happiness-love, once again answer yourself: what is happiness for you; when were you happy? (I will say again: we experience-feel (experience) happiness when we are in love, even if it was to the point of the beloved’s refusal, even if there was no reciprocity for a moment, or only for a moment – and in this state of being in love (from entering the shadow of Paradise and to falling out-disappointment from this shadow of happiness) the lover needs nothing (no money, no fame, no pleasure, no… no…), but only one “yes” of reciprocity!!!). If happiness for you is not mutual love, but there is something more blissful than this (state of love), then do not read further, because we will be talking about the Gospel (the Kingdom of mutual Divine Love (= Happiness) has come, it is given to everyone, everyone can already Love with the Divine Eros of the Holy Spirit and receive the mutual “fierce” Love of God with divine humility!) for those who seek Happiness – Eternal and All-encompassing Love, that is, Love!
We are happy when we love and are loved in return! Love is the shadow of Love, the Kingdom of God! If the shadow (love) of Love is so beautiful, sweet, blissful in its fullness, then what is the Reality (Kingdom of God)?! Love passes, but Love never passes! So, Happiness is to Love and be Loved! God is Love, therefore Happiness is to be a partaker of the mutual Divine Love of the Holy Trinity! Happiness (to Love and be Loved) is to be god by grace, one of the Trinity, where each Hypostasis Divinely Loves and is Divinely Loved!
God created the world with Love and for Love (for Happiness). But the hypostasis of the created world (humanity) made a mistake (sin – missed the goal of Happiness, deification by grace – and chose the path of self-deification, that is, death), thus fell into non-being, existence in the death of selfishness and self. The Goal is God, and outside of God (Life and Happiness) – is death and hell (unhappiness)! Man expelled themselves from Paradise, along the trajectory of the fall from personality (who loves Others and lives for Them and in Them) to the individual (closed in self-egoist, alienated from the mystery of communion, who “loves” only themselves and “lives” for themselves and by themselves) (more on the fall in Part I). Expelling themselves from Paradise (communion with God and in God with the whole world), man became unhappy (unable to love eucharistically or humbly receive love), a crippled being (due to the fall)! From the fall from Paradise to the incarnation of God in Christ Jesus, people were objectively unhappy (incapable of either Loving or receiving Love; God’s Love, God’s Grace – is hell for those who cannot humbly receive, contain It!). Two thousand years ago (and for ages to come), the Gospel sounded in the universe: the Kingdom of God has come, that is, Happiness has come – this means we can now Love and receive (contain) Love, we have the power to be children of God, that is, children of Love, for the Father is Love, and the children of the Father are those who are Love-Personality. In the Holy Spirit, we become free and, consequently, capable of Loving Divinely – being partakers of the mutual-sacrificial Divine Love of the Holy Trinity. Loved (Divinely – by God Himself) we were (and are, and will always be – for Love never passes!!!) always, but to accept this (Eternal and All-encompassing) Love and respond with reciprocity (that is, to Love) we had no strength, and even lost understanding of what Happiness is (personal hypostatic Life in Love communion-unity with Other Hypostases (Divine and created), where the Other is the content and meaning of my Life-Being). For until the revelation of the Father in the Son by the Holy Spirit, humanity did not know (and did not even guess!) that God is Love!
That God (= Happiness) is Love, know-understand and proclaim only Christians (atheists and religious people do not even think about this: for “Greeks” (wise of this age) it is foolishness, and for “Jews” (religious people: Jews, Muslims, Hindus…) it is a stumbling block)! The word “God” (its equivalent in every language) humanity uses to indicate the ideal, fullness, beauty, perfection – this is what (Whom in Christianity) people try to resemble (what they dream about). God with His attributes-characteristics-virtues – this is the image of reality-state, a partaker-owner of which a person dreams-desires to be (to be happy – is to be god, or like gods). So, to be Happy – is to be Christian! Only Christians are Happy – because they know-understand the True God, Who is Love-Personality! Happiness – is to be God (God – Blessed, Happy, more precisely Happiness), that is, to Love Divinely, to become one of the Trinity, to become a partaker of Divine Triune Life-Love), to become one with God (“I in You, and You in Me, We in them (created hypostases), and they in Us – so that all may be one”; this is the Happiness God prays for, which God-Love desires for us with Divine Eros, and has done (and still does, and will not stop doing, until everything becomes Love – God will be all in all) everything for us to achieve Happiness (to become Happy): “For God-Love so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that He might save all – to lead into Happiness, give everyone Eternal Life, that is, the eternal opportunity to know-love the Father in the Son by the Holy Spirit).
