The billionaires of this age, raising their children, teach them various sciences so that they accept the inheritance and skillfully manage and possess it. They do not even give them pocket money for leisure, but give them work – so that they earn it themselves and learn to value work. Because what is easily obtained is not valued and is easily lost! Accepting, receiving the inheritance is easy – it is difficult to keep it, to possess it! Look at how the Father in the parable of the prodigal son raised his children (not even giving a kid from his numerous flocks to the older son to have fun with his friends!)! Then it is incomparably more necessary for the children of the Heavenly Father to learn (to be instructed by the Church) and to make ascetic efforts to acquire the catholic hypostatic consciousness to accept the adoption and inheritance of God the Father – Eternal Life, the fullness of the Holy Spirit! It is impossible for the rich (for whom the Kingdom of God has come, and which is given to them and everyone!) to enter the Kingdom of God (into which only the poor in spirit, those who thirst for the Kingdom of God, enter). It is necessary to work hard (with penitential ascetic labors to the point of bloody sweat) to “become poor” in the Holy Spirit! Yes, the Kingdom of God has come, which the
Father God has bequeathed and given to everyone and everyone! But, “unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God” (see John 3: 5)! Therefore, it is said about the narrow gate and the narrow, cross path by which we enter into possession of Our Own (which is ours from birth – God the Trinity). Therefore, the fact that we are saved (the Kingdom of God has come) is joyful Gospel, but this is only half of the matter (what God had to do for us to be Happy), and now the word is ours – to accept the Gift – the Holy Spirit (generously poured out on all creation), to enter into possession of the Inheritance-Gift (bought for us at a high price – the Blood of the Son of God!): we must enter the Kingdom of God through great tribulations; whoever endures to the end will be saved (accept the Holy Spirit); deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Me (Christ) to Golgotha, to be crucified with Me, to die a cross death (asceticism of self-denial or martyr’s, confessing blood), to rise with Me! Fornicators, idolaters, thieves, heretics… (sinners who do not repent, who blaspheme the Holy Spirit) will not inherit the Kingdom of God! – which has come, and which belongs to them, theirs, but they cannot inherit, possess it until they repent!
Heretics of the UOC KP say that God has given us the Kingdom of God, saved us – so everything is done, you can live peacefully and do nothing!? But to keep, accept the Inheritance, WISDOM is needed, CATHOLIC WISDOM, HUMBLE – a consciousness that is acquired by ascetic labors to the point of bloody sweat! If earthly science is a difficult and dangerous (one can go mad, overstudying or striving to comprehend what is beyond one’s mind) labor, then what can be said about the science of sciences – the correct spiritual life. We have one science – (instruction), repentance (change of mind), in the process of which we must recognize our weakness: that without God we are nothing, and God for us is everything. That is, to acquire God-receiving humility, which is identical to the state of one who is perishing and asks for salvation with hope. To accept the gift of salvation, it is necessary first of all to enter the state of need for salvation! And we enter it by zealously fulfilling the prescriptions-assignments of the Teacher – zealously fulfilling God’s commandments (in the process of this learning we recognize our perishing state – we do nothing good – and the need for the Savior)! And without humility, we will immediately perish (in demonic pride), having accepted the Kingdom of God! Therefore, until we humble ourselves – no one will trust us with our own (!) – the Kingdom of God, which is given to us! Therefore, we repeat: the Kingdom of God has come, It is given to everyone, but we enter it through the science of asceticism of self-denial in obedience to the Church, and until we pass the exam on God-receiving humility, no one will trust us with our own (our inheritance) – the Holy Spirit! Therefore, the task of the correct parish-eucharistic (Spiritual) life is to acquire God-receiving humility (for more details, see the following parts).
And the heretics say: God loves you, has already done everything for you (suffered on the cross, sent the Holy Spirit), nothing more needs to be done – just live, enjoy, rejoice, give thanks… But Life is entered only through narrow gates, the cross path of asceticism and martyrdom, to accept the Spirit, you need to give blood… And true, real, pure gratitude – gratitude for salvation, that is, I must experience my salvation by Christ from the abyss of perdition; therefore, the law of spiritual life is to keep your mind in hell, but not to despair! I must know myself as perishing and experience salvation by the Holy Spirit and only then remain to always give thanks and rejoice! And before the ascetic feat of recognizing one’s perdition (zealously fulfilling God’s commandments, not one’s own interpretations of God’s commandments), one’s Christ-killing sins, this joy and gratitude – selfish lust, pleasure-seeking (as the Pharisee thanked (gave thanks) and rejoiced that he was not like others. And the publican knew who he was – the one who perishes and needs mercy).
