It is ridiculous to even ask such obvious rhetorical questions. He (the Christian and even the proclaimed by the Church) will call them all to repentance (both the oppressor and the oppressed; both are wrong and guilty against the Truth equally: both the one who wants to take something or enslave someone, and the one who defends what they want to take or doesn’t want to serve (obey): “if someone wants to take your cloak, give him your tunic as well, if someone wants you to go one mile (i.e., orders you to work one shift – work two), go two” – these are words born from the experience of knowing the Kingdom of God, Hypostatic Eucharistic knowing of the Life of the Holy Trinity, it is an indication of the way of life of Christians). A Christian is a peacemaker and stands in the Truth. He is a prophet in this world, who announces to people the will of God and helps them understand the guidance and grace of God’s providence (God of Love, who ceaselessly cares for His creation, and above all, for the crown of it – each person). Therefore, the Lord awakens people to repentance with calamities, wars, natural disasters… (as in our parable (the invader is a tool of God’s providence; in this world there is nothing accidental and nothing happens without the will of God-Love, who always Loves!!!): if the neighbor did not attack, they would have calmly lived on and had no idea that there was any danger and that they needed to repent, to save themselves (fleeing from the sinking ship – from this world: lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, into the Church, the Kingdom of God, Eternal Life)! And death is not far off, you need to prepare for exams, for life in the third phase. But without sorrow, a person thinks that they are eternal and that this earthly life is forever – that is, they will never die!?). Of course, if you add women and children to this picture of madness, who need to be protected and provided with a comfortable life in their cabin (and the ship is sinking!), then this insane battle for cabins and everything and everyone in them acquires the features of a holy war with its sentimentality and sensuality! War for what?! Do not forget, we are talking about Christian wars, about Christians with a sword (machine gun) in hand, and trying to show, in simple terms, the madness and insanity of such ideas (that Christians kill and bless killing in a holy, defensive war, etc.). As for pagans (non-Christians), everything is clear with them – they are earthly, sons of this age, so they must live by justice, by conscience, defending with a sword their families, relatives, women, children (fighting for cabins and the customs and rites in these cabins, for the traditional forms of communication of the inhabitants of those cabins). And as for Christians not defending their children, relatives, religion with a sword, as an example we can cite: the Lord forbade defending Him, and nowhere in the history of the Church is there a case where Christians defended martyrs from torturers with swords and clubs (“Grads,” tanks, machine guns, mines, etc.); and as for defending their children, read the lives of the holy martyrs Faith, Hope, Love, and their mother Sophia (celebration on September 30 according to the new style): Sophia did not throw herself at the torturers with knives, fists, stones, did not defend her children from death and torture, but quite the opposite – gave them to God, as a testimony to everyone (primarily to the torturers), that the Kingdom of God has come and death no longer exists, and suffering for Christ is a great honor and Grace; and they also defended and preached their faith – but not with a sword and fire, but by laying down their lives for their friends, those whom they preached the Gospel: so Christians preached and defended Christianity only with Love, Truth, and their martyr’s blood (with which the Seeds of the Gospel Word are nourished) and the tears of childbirth, until the person, to whom they proclaim, to whom they Preach, is born from above, does not receive the Holy Spirit. Therefore, Christians (bearers of the Spirit) do not defend with a sword-machine gun either themselves, or other people, let alone Christians, or faith! Because often you hear slogans to the “Christian-loving army” to stand for the Fatherland and for the “Orthodox faith”!? As if faith (Christianity) needs a sword for its defense – what madness and absurdity! Christians do not know and do not use such methods – they lay down their lives for the faith, not for infidels, they fight for faith within themselves, not outside themselves (the evil is only in me – see Part II). And enemies (whom Christians do not have) they love: they bless, pray for, do good to them, not kill!
Imagine the scene: the venerable Isaac the Syrian (“merciful heart…” – see Part I), venerable Seraphim of Sarov (“My joy…”) on the monastery walls with boiling water or hot tar waiting for the opportunity to pour it on the invaders-occupiers who are storming the monastery!? – what insanity and blasphemy!
