To return the academies (“spiritual” educational institutions) to the course of Orthodoxy, and to make them Spiritual, that is, Church, it is necessary to fundamentally reform the entire system of spiritual education: first of all, the life of students, then rewrite all textbooks (on theology) and change teaching methods… But those who are at the helm of such institutions have no idea that they have something wrong, and if they find out on the level of hearing (not on the level of knowing), they will do nothing (firstly, they will not understand anything, and secondly, something needs to be changed, in this case — EVERYTHING, and those criminals only do what they do nothing, and do not allow those who want to do something; everything I am talking about — I say from the reliable testimony of a father (he personally told me about this), who tried to convey Orthodoxy to the leadership and teachers in one of the academies — like throwing beans (pearls) against a wall (whitened, whitewashed)). (I also tried to share the Gospel, Orthodoxy with them — the result was the same as with the father — in response: threats (we will impose a ban, excommunicate from the church…), baseless “insults” (weak-minded, pagan, in prelest…). You ask: why didn’t I tell the Church about this, according to the Commandment (“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two more with you, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector”), why did I not name the evil-doers by name. I intended to expose their crimes before the whole church in this book, but after I told them about it, they (the base, vainglorious…) were frightened, and when I demanded a meeting (because before, when I asked to meet and clarify (to throw a beam of truth, light) the relationships (they started accusing me (that I teach incorrectly) and informing (slandering) the higher leadership — all this secretly, behind my back!? No one said a word to my face! And what can a malicious, vainglorious being say besides lies and slander?!) in order to discuss the catastrophic situation in the academy — I was told (by phone) that if I come (to talk, discuss; and I also demanded that I be pointed out my mistakes, where I teach incorrectly, point by point), they will call the police (and this is the reaction of academics, doctors of “theology” to the proposal to talk (discuss, because they are convinced that everything is fine with them and the academy is flourishing!?) about the Truth — what light can be expected from such darkness?!!)!??) — they agreed and promised to gather together (the rector and the vice-rector) as soon as they could, and we would talk (they had already deceived me several times: they promised to gather a round table (although I asked to be given the opportunity to report at the academic council — the reaction of the evil-doers was “phenomenal” (the answer is unequivocal — no!), it was necessary to see), and discuss the painful issues I wrote about above; when I am face to face with them, they sneer, feign agreement with every word, and then ignore (when I call — they do not answer the phone or interrupt the call signal, and do not call back; and avoid the meeting!)! The book is already being handed over for printing, and I am still waiting for them to gather! If this time they do not repent — we will tell the Church!..
What to do to revive this deadness?! First of all, the Eucharist, the Sacrament of the Kingdom must be put at the foundation of the life of the educational “spiritual” institution. The whole life of students and, first of all, teachers should go from Eucharist to Eucharist. In such an institution, there should be a competent spiritual father (a prudent man who knows Orthodox theology and the laws of proper spiritual life), who will prepare the students for the Eucharist, that is, who will catechize them! Yes, by force or duty, you cannot drive to the Eucharist (to the absolute realm of freedom) — this is a greater evil than not communing. But it is necessary to understand what we are talking about: “greater evil”, “lesser evil”!? Or maybe there is a way to choose not between “evil” and “evil”, but between “good” and “evil”. Therefore, the spiritual father should work with each one individually and give catechetical lectures to all students together. Those who are not ready to approach the Cup due to unbelief (more precisely — lack of trust; many students do not believe in God, and graduate without knowing what to do to believe, how to acquire faith — no one dealt with them (!?) (in the heap no one cares about anyone — live as you want, each for himself!?) and they did not suspect that there is a way to acquire faith; how can someone who does not believe in God point the way to acquire faith?! Understand who I am talking about), or vices, or other reasons — to prepare them for communion even for a year, two, to work with them — to look at their spiritual state, life… Every student should understand that the Eucharist is something at which one cannot be present as a spectator, but only as a participant-communicant! Therefore, all participants of the worship groups (worship practice, which practically studies the performance of the services of the daily cycle of worship and the Liturgy-Eucharist) must necessarily partake, that is, prepare for the Eucharist… It is clear that if there is no spiritual (church, Eucharistic) life in the school, then there cannot be Orthodox theology in it… (because: The only key to understanding the Holy Scriptures of Christians is the Sacrament of the Eucharist!!!). We have pointed out only one disease — the absence of spiritual (church, Eucharistic) life. If we start treating it, all others will weaken!”.
