So, is it not necessary to pray for others, for one another?! The apostle asked for prayers for himself! Elsewhere it says: ‘Pray for one another’… Pray! not commemorate! To pray and to commemorate a name – these are different things. The holy fathers say that to pray for people – is to shed blood! The woman with the issue of blood, when she touched the hem of the Lord’s garment, was immediately healed, and the Lord testified that power had gone out from Him! Prayer – is a sacrificial struggle against passions, desires, self-denial, laying down one’s soul for another (see Pt. II), not reminding God that someone needs healing or other assistance. God, I think, loves more than you! And His prayer is much more powerful than yours! God prays incessantly for all people!!! So does He wait for your foolish words or advice, does He need them?! No! For your repentance! – proper spiritual life in the Eucharist and the Commandments of Christ (not your interpretations of God’s commandments)! By the way, what are sorokousts, annual, lifelong, so-called, ordered services for health or for the repose? – These are 40, 180… days of reminding (not praying!) God that someone has died, or someone is very sick, or about other circumstances that are unknown to God!? About prayer, we do not speak, and what is prayer, neither those who accept and undertake the sorokoust, nor those who order (shirking responsibility) do not know, nor wish to know! I have met only one person who actually prayed for those people, for whom they were asked to pray! Those thick synodicons (for 40, half a year, a year) – this is paganism, with a minor exception, – reciting names during the liturgy (the Eucharistic canon is going on – and he mumbles names!?), akathists… instead of at least properly ascetically praying (with attention to the words of the liturgy, with reverence and repentance)
– some benefit! To commemorate a name at the proscomedia – and they call that a prayer for a person!? God is love!!! Not a faceless force that can be magically manipulated! We, by our foolishness, have turned the church into a pagan temple with priests, magicians… into a pagan religion…
To pray – is not to drone on like mantras, the Jesus Prayer or other prayers incessantly. Prayer – is life in Christ, it is repentance, godly thinking. The saints were asked to expel a demon, and they refused (heartless!?), and here: I’ll bring incense, a cross, holy water right away and let’s ‘expel demons’! Diseases-demons – a similar situation! Love – God’s Gift, which is poured by the Holy Spirit into our PURE hearts!.. And here – a slave of passions, but says that he ’embraces and pities the whole world with love’! This is what it means to dream, not to live. Read in the Fathers (oh, if only he had read), or probably heard from someone, that they prayed for the whole world and go on ‘praying’ for the whole world, sympathizing with all the afflicted and helping them!? Soul-destroying acting, and the teacher of this ‘art’ is the father of untruth, deception – the devil. The devil
teaches to ‘love’, ‘have mercy’, ‘pity’, ‘pray’… A perishing savior, a poor enricher, a sick doctor, a foolish teacher… – these are the fruits of demonic deception. Save yourself first (if you want to save someone else!? And do not forget: there is only one Savior – Christ), and around you thousands will be saved – say the holy fathers. Gain insight – and then you can lead the blind to light! Acquire the mind of Christ – and you will enlighten the ignorant! Become light by grace, and then you can illuminate the darkness in others! And the opposite actions – the devil’s play with our sinful consciousness.
Thus, the Holy Fathers prayed for others, helped others only when they were in the Holy Spirit (because, when they spoke or acted from themselves – there were mistakes. See above), and not being sent by the Holy Spirit for a good deed, did nothing (see above St. Ambrose), because first of all they mourned their own perdition, and secondly, even if they wanted to help – without the Holy Spirit they did not know what to pray for or how to help, saw themselves as blind fools, therefore did no harm to anyone with their unspiritual ‘good’ deeds – because they knew what Love is (minimum – do no harm)! At the occasion, we will say something about the deception of Catholicism and Protestantism. Often, to Orthodox (better to say, those who want to be Orthodox, want to become Christian) in reproach and as an example are set the missionary active activities of Catholics and Protestants, around the world and especially (this is the main mission of Satan – to destroy Orthodox-Christianity) in
‘Orthodox’ countries, where the majority of the population consider themselves Orthodox! In these countries, the ‘mission’ is most funded and promoted (schools, seminaries, missionary courses are opened locally), ‘to enlighten’ the dark Orthodox, uncivilized people. And their ‘benevolence’ simply has no equal, both at the level of individual members of ‘churches’ and at a global level. Catholic Sisters of Mercy – a model to follow! Shelters, hospitals, boarding schools, humanitarian aid, teaching the Word of God – all free, all for you, just believe in Jesus Christ, accept Him as your personal savior. The homeless, cripples, sick, drug addicts, alcoholics… – these are all who are first looked at by the ‘merciful’ eye of a Catholic and a Protestant! When I listed these – I am breathless – how much ‘good’ there is in the world, and how many ‘good’, ‘compassionate’, ‘loving’ people, ‘churches’, ‘organizations’, and all of them want to save, heal, help, enlighten!??? The Lord must have been mistaken when He spoke about the little flock, or that when He comes, He will not find faith on earth – look how many Christians, who ‘fulfill’ the commandment of love for God and neighbor! – Sad spectacle, and demonic deception!!! Some Orthodox are stingy, unmerciful, do not mission, do not heal with prayers, do not bear fruit with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, do not expel demons… therefore probably ‘missionaries’ rush to enlighten the dark Orthodox, convert them to the TRUTH! We said above enough, so that you could understand my irony and sarcasm – we simply moved from one person to ‘churches’ – the criteria are the same! Just a reminder, that true missionaries to the work of the Gospel were sent by the Church, by the Holy Spirit, therefore the apostle says: how will they preach (missionaries), if they are not sent by the Holy Spirit (apostle – sent, authorized by God). Protestants have no truth!!! Therefore, they could not have been sent to preach by the Holy Spirit – the Spirit of TRUTH!!! They are sent by another spirit – of deception, untruth, the devil!!! By their fruits you shall know them – and they are evident! Catholics similarly, I will just add, that all new converts they bring under the omophorion of the pope, who is the truth, not the Holy Spirit, that is, to know the truth they do not need Christ, the Holy Spirit – the pope knows infallibly! ‘Missions’ are blessed by the pope with a spirit… (Who wants to discuss, but argumentatively and, of course, having previously considered all the arguments presented in this book, refuting them, so that we do not waste time – then write, let’s talk)!
