What to do?! Everyone should start preparing for Baptism, to catechize themselves and others – that is, as slaves, to fulfill the will of the Lord Jesus Christ, all the commandments (and not selectively): and not one’s own interpretations, but as the Church of Christ teaches, as the holy apostles and holy fathers teach, to know the will of God, the Orthodox faith (sincerely, and not deceitfully, denominationally, ideologically, not fitting facts to the situation, as it is convenient for me, but to know the Truth as it is, and not to change the Truth for oneself, but to change oneself to conform to Christ), sincerely seek the Truth, renounce deceit – and the Lord will have mercy on us!!!
Catechism is not to theologize about the Tabor light, deification, spiritual states… (what is the experience-knowledge only of Christians!), but to do deeds of love, mercy, and repent of one’s sins (fight passions), the vision of which, with the correct catechism (life), should increase (“as the sand of the sea”). Therefore, catechism (preparation for Baptism by the Holy Spirit) in the Church lasts for years (until the Holy Spirit informs Christians (the Church) of the catechumen’s readiness for the sacrament – baptism by the Holy Spirit) – until a person gains a humble and contrite heart, enters the state of spiritual poverty, and not just intellectually-theoretically, abstractly-philosophically agrees with some worldview system (you believe this way – so I believe the same way as you; where to put my signature, what other documents to sign?.. as you, so do I!? This is superstition, idle faith, vain faith! The main thing is what you know, what you believe, what your experience is?! And hiding behind others (the same as you…), behind the community, behind the church – this is self-deception!). But this is not my experience, this did not happen to me, I did not experience this! (Superstition includes faith based on miracles (and not on the Truth and conviction) – unstable, intellectual, because miracles are external and do not happen to me, to my “I”! The only true miracle is repentance, knowing oneself, the truth about oneself… Intellectual knowledge-theory (including about a miracle I witnessed) is unstable, transient – turned around and forgot what was being said (and in the case of a miracle: maybe it seemed to me, it is not so important, etc.), but the disease, pain, that one knows (hellish torments – keep your mind in hell), cannot be forgotten (for example, toothache, how can you forget it?) – it is the background of all deeds and a stimulus for the struggle for salvation-healing).
The task of catechism is not to teach scholasticism (to talk about God), to write “theological” dissertations, to earn a doctoral degree in theology, but to experientially know sin, one’s infirmity, paralysis to do good, that is hell… and God’s Love for oneself (I am such a worthless, vile sinner… and how much has been Given, Gifted to me by God, and God Himself came down for me to the Cross, endured terrible torments to save me(!)?!). Can a paralyzed person (from the womb of his mother) write a dissertation in the department of weightlifting in a sports institute!? He can! The one who cannot even move a finger talks about weightlifting (and he talked so much to fill a whole dissertation – well worked with texts on the relevant problem), and he cannot praise himself enough, how he is… a doctor of “sports, weightlifting sciences” (one who has no relation to sports, to weightlifting… except perhaps for the competition: who will lie in one place longer and not move their fingers!). Therefore, the essence of catechism is not theoretical catechesis (reading lectures), but practice – keeping ALL of God’s commandments! The theoretical (“lecture”) part (1%) of catechism is to teach the catechumen: to know all of God’s commandments (there are only two of them: Love God and the image of God!) and correctly understand them, and the practical (99% of the entire educational-catechetical process) – the Church “orders” (to a voluntary) slave-disciple to keep this commandment of Love! (Orders, not just recommends something; to do everything (all God’s commandments), not something at choice. If a paralyzed person (a slave who suffers from wickedness and laziness) is told: you can engage in thoughts about the meaning of life, read an akathist, sing psalms, write a theological treatise or dissertation, or go to the store for groceries, dig the garden, fix the leaking roof, or at least go to the toilet… then he will choose to dream, reason, and will reason well – even to a doctoral dissertation he will reason-compile… and will not praise himself, what a super-normal man he is, worthy of earthly and heavenly rewards!? And the purpose of catechism is for a person to come to their senses, to know the truth about themselves, their nothingness, sin, catastrophe… and in a humble, contrite heart give themselves to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Savior (about Whom the Church testifies (Christians – healed, saved by Christ) to the catechumen, Whom alone it preaches! The necessary condition for healing is faith (trust) in the Lord Jesus Christ). Therefore, God’s commandments are not given at choice (for example, you can: not envy, not steal, not judge, give alms, comfort, study the Scripture… but you must: both not envy and not steal – you must do everything at once! And not: I steal, but I do not envy – you must both not steal and not envy!), but all must be kept by the catechumen, and not as he himself understood them, but as the Church teaches, that is, Christians by the Holy Spirit! Therefore, the theory-catechesis is an explanation of God’s commandments, so that the catechumen keeps them correctly, Orthodoxly! Then the zealous (trying) keeping of God’s commandments will teach (catechize) the catechumen to know their paralysis, their deadness. And when they desire resurrection (salvation-healing), then the Church, informed by the Holy Spirit of the catechumen’s readiness for the sacrament of Resurrection, performs the rite of Baptism, during which God performs the Sacrament: Baptizes into the death of Christ and Resurrection of Christ! Here is what catechism in the Church is. Now even the teaching of catechism does not exist (certain men shout about the most important in the work of salvation, and the police, who made a coup in the church, and seized lordship, authority (bishops – rulers!?) into their antichristian hands, do not even suspect this order; and if someone in the church suspects and begins to speak about this, they are quickly silenced; because where there is enlightenment-catechism-teaching of the people of God, there immediately the lordship of the rulers (priests of various ranks) is questioned, whereas it is easy to rule over a dark gray mass, no one asks unnecessary questions, moreover, does not even suspect the existence of urgent questions, not to mention the necessity of seeking answers to them).
