And now we will interrupt the word about slavery and say a few words (parables-analogies) about the necessity of proclamation in the work of salvation – without proclamation (preparation and the fruit of this knowledge-preparation: conscious humble knowledge of reality and trust-giving of oneself and all and everything to Christ) no Sacrament is performed!
The Church is a Hospital! The result of treatment in It is the healing-resurrection of slaves-obedient ones who diligently fulfill all the prescriptions (commandments) of the Doctor-Healer-Savior Jesus Christ! Imagine the picture: a person comes to the hospital and starts treating themselves (prescribing medications, procedures…)!? They diagnose themselves and prescribe a course of treatment!? They perform an operation on themselves!? Absurd! Complete absurdity! When you are a doctor of medical sciences, an academician of world renown, such self-initiated actions (self-treatment) or even performing an operation on yourself under local anesthesia can be justified to some extent. But here is a complete transplantation – the replacement of the entire being with the Body of Christ, complete self-denial-death. Absolute renunciation of one’s mind(!), knowledge(!), understanding(!), plans(!) and giving oneself to Christ, Who through His members – Christians – will proclaim-prepare for the operation-baptism (implantation-grafting of the leaven-seed-pledge of the Holy Spirit, Which in due time will deify, sanctify the entire being – deify the unique created hypostasis). So, to become free (from illness: deformity, paralysis, blindness, pain… – sin, god-will), I must become a slave of the Doctor-Healer. No self-treatment: being a slave of sin (death, corruption, suffering), I give myself (voluntarily!) into slavery (complete obedience) to Christ, I enter the Church, the Hospital-Healer-Resuscitator-Resurrector, where I perform in obedience-slavery (whether my egoistically evil-prideful nature, natural will-want desires it or not) the will of God, the will of Jesus Christ (the commandments of God), which I learn through Christians (or from the proclaimed ones, who are also preparing for the operation but are more experienced than us – friends-advisors), and later (after the operation-baptism) from the Doctor Himself by the Holy Spirit! And whoever does not become a slave-obedient of Christ and lives in the church (Hospital) according to their sinful (needs-desires) “I want,” “I don’t want,” “I will,” “I won’t” – such living will only be for judgment and condemnation!
So, baptism is an operation-transplantation (sowing the Seed-Grain, grafting a branch to the Tree, etc.). In medicine, the patient is thoroughly prepared for the operation: tests are done, various examinations, consultations… And how much effort is needed to perform the operation itself! And in the “church”: a person is taken from the street and immediately into the operating room – the priests baptize without even asking the name!? Here is a conveyor: a few minutes and the need is satisfied (baptized!?), and the next, the next… No one asks: why baptize? – it’s necessary… And without any doubts, questions, preparations, they “perform” the most complex operation in the world (uniting the earthly with the Heavenly in the Body of Christ) – the Sacrament of Baptism-Chrismation!? An unprepared (unproclaimed) patient is brought to the operating room (they perform the rite of the sacrament; the rite of the sacrament is to bring (present, offer) the patient to the operating room to the Doctor-Healer-Surgeon, so that He (Jesus Christ, God Love) performs the operation-sacrament – grants the Holy Spirit), and the Doctor-Surgeon tells the assistants (priests in this analogy-parable – are the laborers in the hospital who transport patients from the ward on a cart to the operating room and after the operation back to the ward or to the morgue): why did you bring him here – he is not ready for the operation, he will not survive it, he will die (eternal death – in the state of pride-egoism it is impossible to consume the fruits of the Tree of Life, that is, the Holy Spirit! The person wanted to be like God without God and embarked on the path of self-deification, while they are nothing themselves – without-God, poor in Spirit, Truth, Light… Whoever does not humble themselves, that is, does not recognize that they are nothing, poor in Spirit and that everything they are and have is a Gift-Love of God, cannot enter Paradise, the Kingdom of God, accept the Holy Spirit!), I (God-Love) cannot give him (unprepared, unproclaimed, not humble, not desirous) the Holy Spirit (because I Love him beyond words – every created hypostasis!) – take him back, let him prepare, prepare (proclaim this person everyone who is capable of this and has the gift of this service) him for the operation (granting the Holy Spirit, baptism with the Holy Spirit) – proclaim him and let him proclaim himself in obedience-slavery (listening and fulfilling what is heard and understood – the commandments of God)!
