(IV) 5.The Art and Science of Listening

Did the Lord allow the angels to fall and become demons?!

Did the Lord God allow Adam to fall out of Paradise?! That there would be hell, death, sin, evil?! Yes! Therefore, the Holy Spirit teaches us to pray: “Father, lead us not into temptation (deliver us from evil)” – which means the possibility of doubting the faith and falling away exists! “In time of temptation, they fall away” (Luke 8:13). “Beware, so you are not deceived” (Luke 21:8). For many false prophets, false teachers, false apostles have entered the world, who came from the “baptized” and pretend to be Christians. “Pray so that you do not fall into temptation”; “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you do not fall into temptation” (see Luke 22:40, 46). Temptation is a test, exam, verification, test of faithfulness. It is necessary to be vigilant and pray constantly, that is, to be humble (not to rely on yourself, but only on God), so that in the Holy Spirit to stand on the judgment-crisis, in trials, which cannot but come (it is impossible for temptations not to come – control works, exams – during the learning process in school-preparation for Eternal Life, to inherit and possess the Inheritance (the Kingdom of God)). On judgment, only the humble will stand (pass the exam), who rely only on God, on the Lord Jesus Christ, and not on themselves and their strength or on creation – for people “this” (being faithful to God themselves, without God) is impossible, but with God all things are possible: “I can do all things through Christ, in the Holy Spirit; when I am weak, then God is strong in me and through me, the Holy Spirit”.
