(IV) 13.Do Not Judge!

The most dangerous disease is the one that is not seen, not treated. The sin of judgment is insane, malicious blindness, for in what you judge your neighbor, you yourself do the same, and even more and more heavily sin (for you commit the same sin and to it add the weight of the sin of judgment!). “Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man – you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself – that you will escape the judgment of God?” (see Romans 2:1-11). Maybe you do not kill?! Maybe you do not commit adultery?! – No, I did not kill anyone! I did not commit adultery with anyone! And I will tell you – there was no opportunity (no suitable conditions!)! How? What? I do not understand! – And have you not heard what the Lord says: “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to hell of fire… You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (see Matthew 5:21-28). Therefore, whoever was angry is a murderer (subject to the same judgment as the one who killed, who realized (by God’s mercy, by the providence of the God-Love, who loves both the murderer and the murdered, caring for the salvation of both, and does the best, the most appropriate for both: one needs to kill, and the other to be killed! Incomprehensible are the ways of Your loving mercy-care, Lord, for each person whom You Inexpressibly, Divinely Love! Lord, glory to You and Thanksgiving forever! Lord, glory to You!) their anger). Or maybe you, man, have never hated anyone (never wanted any person (enemy or not, it does not matter) not to exist, that is, for them to cease to exist, be destroyed, become nothing…)?! Or maybe you, in anger, rage, have never called anyone names (treating the image of God as nothing, a monster, an abomination…), never cursed, never wished evil?! For this, a person is subject to even greater judgment (council), even greater responsibility and punishment (hell of fire), than in the case of simple murder! And have you not lusted after a woman – then you have already committed adultery, fornication in your heart! And you keep babbling: but I did not commit the sin, did not commit fornication with this woman. Once again, I say – only because there was no opportunity (possibility) to sin with her. And if you were alone with this woman whom you lusted after, and she also wanted to commit fornication, would you run away from fornication, like the chaste Joseph from the Egyptian woman (see Genesis 39:6-20)?! So, you are an adulterer, fornicator, murderer (and then by the list of all passions and sins – thief, liar, money-lover, miser… – all symptoms of the disease of godlessness, death-egoism-pride), and you judge those who have killed, committed fornication, committed adultery, stolen… All the children of this age (non-Christians) are adulterers, murderers, thieves… And why one person realizes their passions in joint sin with other people, and another, though they want to sin, but fails, conditions do not align – these are all Mysteries of God’s Providence, God’s Mercy-Love to each person! Without God’s will, Wise and Good, directing everything to good, to the Goal, not a single hair will fall from the head: neither the offender, nor the offended, nor the murderer, nor the murdered, nor those who commit fornication, nor those who commit adultery, nor those who are stolen from, nor those who steal… (Everyone sins – separately or together, but everyone will bear their own burden, everyone will answer for themselves, not for others!). The Lord gives power to act, desire to each person, and a person can either steal, kill, commit fornication… or do good. We testified that no one can harm anyone: outside of every person (their freedom) – Divine Love, God Divinely Loves every hypostasis through all and everything! Therefore, glory to God for everything, both for good and for the fall into sin… because by all this the Lord leads each person (unique and unrepeatable) to repentance, prepares for the baptism of the Holy Spirit! The main thing is not whether you sin or do not sin, but whether you humble yourself, whether you become more merciful, more merciful… whether you approach the state in which the Lord accomplishes Salvation, Operation-Transplantation – baptism with the Holy Spirit! (And do not forget – a maniac, murderer, fornicator, drug addict, homeless… every person is the Lord Jesus Christ! – see Matthew 25:31-46). Those who have committed sin have the opportunity to know the truth about themselves, to see themselves (that they are sinners, severely ill, as evidenced by the realized symptoms-passions), to realize their sin, desire salvation, come to Christ the Savior-Healer. But double woe to blind Pharisees, hypocrites, whitewashed tombs, illusory righteous people who do not have (or rather, do not see, do not feel) the need for salvation. Therefore, tax collectors, corrupt officials-thieves, prostitutes, sinners… who repent, go into the Kingdom of God ahead of the imaginary righteous, moral models for emulation (who do not feel the need for repentance), hypocritical Pharisees, who are convinced and say that they see (see John 9:39-41), not like other people – robbers, corrupt officials, unrighteous, adulterers, fornicators… (see Luke 18:9-14). (So what, shall we commit sins to know sin?! No! To see sin, to feel the pain and harm of sin, one must stop sinning, fight passion, repent of sins. Those who commit sin are blind, and further enslave themselves to passion!). Therefore, judgment is the most foolish, blind, cynical, most dangerous, most deadly passion-symptom of sin-death-pride-egoism. From this one symptom alone, a person can perish, die the “second death” (see Revelation 20:13-15), that is, not be able to condemn themselves to hell (more details below). Therefore, a catechumen must first and foremost wage war with this sin-passion of judgment (stop judging, try not to judge, tearfully repent of every sin of judgment), otherwise they will not succeed in anything!
