(IV) 13.Do Not Judge!

The essence of all feats, deeds is to acquire the Holy Spirit, Love. Judgment (disrespect, rejection of a neighbor, not forgiving, not having mercy on them) is moving in the opposite direction from the goal, the essence of which is that all may be one, which is Love, enveloping-embracing-containing in oneself everyone and everything, a heart that has mercy on everyone and everything, a heart grieving for the salvation, happiness of everyone and everything (including the devil; “everyone and everything” – absolutely). The only one who has the right to judge others (sinners) is the sinless one, that is, God! (All who have acquired the Holy Spirit have become such by mercy, not by their own strength or knowledge; these are those who have realized that they are nothing, the greatest sinners, worse than everyone!). But God does not judge anyone, He is Love, He is the Savior, He is the Merciful Comforter! (God is not just or fair: we sinned, and He gave His Beloved Son on the Cross, so that we (sinners, haters of good, God-killers) might be saved; those who are worthy of hell and all kinds of infernal torments are brought into Paradise of delight, even more, into the very Kingdom of God! Where is justice, where is righteousness here?!). Therefore, the only one who accuses, blames, condemns is the prosecutor (devil in Greek) – Satan, the slanderer, the man-hater, the cunning deceiver and those who serve Satan (who are of the spirit of Satan). Therefore, let us know that when we judge others, of what spirit we are (the saints do not even judge the devil, but pity this unfortunate creature, and pray that the spirits who remain in evil may be saved). Judgment comes from pride, nurtures and grows it. But the main thing is to acquire humility, the ability to accept the Holy Spirit. God only gives Grace to the humble. “If you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.” Those who judge, judge based on the law, rules, what is outside them – therefore, they always sin, but mercy is Love, it is God Himself (“Be merciful, just as your Father in Heaven is merciful”). The law (symbolized by (blind) Themis with eyes covered(!) and scales in hand) is blind, but only Love-Mercy sees! Whoever has ears to hear, let them understand!

Some obvious sinner (fornicator, murderer, thief…) may be greater than a miracle worker, one who has the gifts of the Holy Spirit (healing, foresight, speech…)! The one who doubled the initial data, that is, talents (who gave everything they had to God, who exerted creative efforts to double the talents they received from God) – that one is great, that one is humble! Therefore, the first are often last, and the last are first! Do not judge by appearance, by quantity: “two small coins” (all small) are incomparably greater than “huge surpluses.” To whom much is given, much (×2, double) will be required, and to whom little is given – equally doubled little will be required! All those who doubled the initial talents are equal before God, and enter into the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ, enter into possession of the entire Kingdom of God. Each person must double their talents (give themselves and everything they have to God) – to achieve deification.

Do not judge – the main and first commandment of the ascetic-striver, the catechumen. In whatever you judge someone, you will be judged the same way! The goal of the feat is to receive forgiveness. The Heavenly Father will not forgive those who do not forgive, do not have mercy, who judge, despise! Therefore, if you judge, despise others, struggle as much as you want, even turn yourself inside out – nothing good will come out of you, only judgment and condemnation.”

Where there is no humility, there is condemnation. Why is there no peace in families? The husband judges the wife, and the wife judges the husband! (Instead of being (merciful) advocates for each other, the husband and wife become (merciless, harsh) judges of each other!?). So where will peace come from? There is no mercy and humility! Everyone is to blame, and primarily God, because He is behind all that is outside of me: He created and gave Eve, He created the serpent… God is to blame for everything!? We judge, condemn, and accuse everyone and everything! Where will peace come from? In whatever you judge someone, you will fall into the same sins or even worse, inevitably, according to the spiritual law, if you do not repent, humble yourself, and show mercy! Therefore, those who have embarked on the path of conversion and repentance must first of all be vigilant not to judge anyone for anything, to have mercy towards everyone and humility before everyone (I am lower, worse than every person, each neighbor is higher than me). Otherwise, nothing will bring any benefit, no labor and feats. Love and Humility! The goal of all feats is Love (Mercy) and Humility! The sign that the catechumen is striving correctly, preparing for baptism by the Holy Spirit, is entering a state where he fears to judge (anyone and for anything) – he has the fear of God. And those who do not watch themselves (especially in judgment), have not yet known the path of truth, and still wander the wide roads of folly, egoism, spiritual blindness, and ignorance of the laws of Spiritual life!
