(IV) 13.Do Not Judge!

Do not judge, do not condemn, but have mercy and humble yourself, and you will avoid a double trap – pride and despair! “Do not grumble (do not judge, do not despise: ‘I am better,’ ‘I would not have done that,’ ‘how long can this go on,’ etc.), brothers and sisters, against one another, so that you will not be judged” (see James 5:9). Let us bear the sins and flaws of our neighbors (“bear one another’s burdens”) with the thought that they are better than us, even though they sin, sin greatly (for example, kill (maniacs, pedophiles, terrorists), rape, judge, fornicate, commit adultery, sin with sodomitic sins…), but to be such (sinners), they struggle with evil more than I, to be who I am! Therefore, let us pray for everyone: Lord, have mercy on my brother (sister), help him (her, them) in the fight against the sin that battles and overcomes him (her, them), and by his (her, their) prayers, have mercy on me, a sinner! From whom do we ask for alms – from richer or poorer than us? Therefore, if we ask for prayers (mercy) – then they are better-richer than us, despite their sinfulness. The first part of the prayer is mercy towards sinners, sufferers of this age, and the second is humility, submission before them as higher than oneself (humility is to be in a state: I am worse than all, I am the last, I am under all creation, etc.).

We will show the absurdity (folly and blindness) of judgment with the following example: a paralyzed, relaxed person, bedridden, judges a boxer who missed a blow and ended up temporarily on the floor of the ring (in a knockdown) in a fight for the title of absolute world champion in the heavyweight category!? (This is just a knockdown, he will get up and fight on, and even win! Who are you to judge someone else’s servant… he will be made to stand, rise after the (sin) fall and win! And you watch yourself, how you stand, more precisely, lie on the bed relaxed by your own sins). A cripple judges someone stronger than themselves, who stumbled! Lord, have mercy on my brother, help him to stand up, overcome sin, passion and by his prayers save me, a sinner! (The one who falls, sins (in a state of knockdown) – stronger than me. Therefore, by the prayers (or: for the sake of) of this falling, sinner (murderer, pedophile, sodomite, thief, fornicator…) save, have mercy on me, Lord! We ask for help from stronger, richer! Every person is stronger, richer, holier than you).

(Christianity is love-mercy to everyone and everything, and humility before everyone (I am lower, the last, a servant-slave to all, I am for everyone, I am under all creation, all are higher than me); it is a desire-burning-zeal to

serve everyone (love everyone) in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to the glory of God the Father, so that all may be saved, become the glory of God, filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit! Love-Mercy and Humility! Humble Love!).

The sin of judgment is terrible cynicism, the most cunning, foolish and blind malice. To feel its severity, we will tell a parable. An old grandmother (or cripple, blind, invalid, sinner…) walks and, stumbling, falls (sin is a fall, sin-fall, wounding, crippling oneself). And you, instead of helping her up, run up to her and hit her with a stick (stone) on the head!?? Such terrible cynicism is the sin of judgment. Sin is a fall, to sin is to wound oneself, cripple oneself, throw oneself into the fire of suffering (“passion” comes from the word to suffer). And the one who has fallen (sinned, or falls-sins), what do they need, what do they silently (by the very fact of sin-fall) ask for?! Mercy, help, support, prayer, faith, hope, love… And we not only do not help, but add new wounds to the existing ones – throw stones at the suffering (sin is suffering, passion)! (Oh, you fell, you wounded yourself?! Then take a stick, a stone on the head; let’s add more wounds to you!?). In judgment, the Satanic spirit manifests itself, which the sons of this age are infected with! The accuser is the prosecutor – the devil, Satan! The one who has mercy, forgives, pities, saves, heals is the Defender – Christ, the Holy Spirit, God!

Lord, have mercy on my brother (the one who sins), and by his prayers save, have mercy on me, a sinner! Never judge anyone for anything – have mercy on everyone and humble yourself before everyone. Always be (try to be) lower than everyone (under all creation): by his (her) prayers save me, the greatest sinner (what are the sins of a neighbor (specks) compared to my sins (logs)?!). “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; forgive, and you will be forgiven; have mercy, and you will be shown mercy.” Judgment is the work of Satan, the cunning one (the prosecutor). God is not a judge, God is the Advocate, Paraclete, Comforter, Defender, Savior! And the devil is the slanderer, accuser, destroyer, killer. The prosecutor demands, insists, strives to ensure that the defendant (even the innocent!) receives the maximum sentence and the heaviest punishment! And the lawyer, the defender of the defendant, asks for mercy even for the obvious criminal, a reduction of the sentence, mitigation of the punishment! Let us be advocates for our neighbors, defend everyone, seek mitigating circumstances for everyone…37 to justify, protect the sinner (of course, hating sin, evil). Sin, evil cannot be justified, we protect, justify the sinner, not the sin, the criminal, not the evil! Hate evil, but love, have mercy, pity, justify the criminal, the sinner! (And the sinner should not justify himself, but humble himself and ask for forgiveness, mercy!).
