Someone still does not understand the mystery of God’s Providence and asks: so, will we live as we please – will everything turn out good anyway?! No! Not everything will be good for everyone! Good will be for everyone, but the irresponsible, reckless one who does evil (tries to do evil to others or to themselves) will feel very bad! Therefore, you must watch only yourself (“each person will bear their own burden” and “each person will give an account of themselves to God on Judgment Day”) – one single person(!) – to not do harm to yourself, but only good (and good is to keep the commandments of God, love Jesus Christ, live in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ)! This inner life is what the catechumen learns, preparing for the baptism of the Holy Spirit: what matters is only what is in me (in my I) – good or evil, Christ or the devil (the temple is never empty – we are either Christ’s, with Christ, or anti-Christ’s, with the devil), not what is outside me (outside me (we repeat this again and again) everything is fine – the Kingdom of God, Paradise, God’s Love). And how hard it is to be within oneself, to deal with oneself, to watch oneself, to change oneself (to fight evil within oneself, not outside where it does not exist! Understand correctly what we are saying)! And all we do is be interested: “what’s there with the Khakhols (Ukrainians)?”, and think: how to “save” them… Everything is fine with the Khakhols – take care of yourself, take care of your salvation!
A careful reader naturally has a question: since everything is always good for everyone (not someday “will be good” – but already now, everything is good!), each person is Divinely Loved every moment (is in paradise conditions), – then how to be merciful, compassionate, co-suffering… in a word, to be merciful, if everything is good for everyone?! It’s very simple. Let us explain this with an example. A father takes his child to the dentist to treat aching teeth. The father is happy that he arranged the treatment, thanks the “tormentor” of his child in advance for agreeing to see the child, and has already prepared the money for the treatment… The father is grateful to the dentist in advance, knowing that he will hurt his beloved child… So, when the dentist (a professional – the best doctor in the world) is treating – the child is fine (he is in the best, most appropriate conditions – according to his spiritual-mental-physical state; in this specific state, the first thing needed is to treat the teeth (or some other disease)…)! The father knows that the child is fine (he even thanks the “tormentor” for the “torture” inflicted on his child); but the child suffers, it hurts (he is on the cross, and the father is not in a hurry to take him down from the cross, because he knows that there is no other way to healing – only through the cross), so the father, though knowing that it should be this way and that the child is fine, still sympathizes with him, co-suffers! In this world, all children of God are gravely ill (with the disease of sin-godlessness-egoism-pride), therefore the Lord with His Providence-Love treats everyone, cares for everyone (everyone is fine – each person undergoes their course of treatment, which the Savior-Healer individually prescribed for each), but people suffer, so I must pity everyone (who are in the best conditions for healing – everything is fine), sympathize with everyone, co-suffer, co-rejoice! Everyone is fine – but everyone suffers, so I thank God for everyone and have mercy on everyone, pray for everyone. Every Christian and every catechumen should have a merciful heart! Here is the state of a healthy person – a prayerful state: humility + thanksgiving (for everyone and everything) + mercy!
You ask: – These are such obvious, childish truths (“everything is fine for everyone” and so on), why are there so many of them?! In our village, this is a popular product: our grandmothers judge everyone, constantly complain about everything, are never satisfied… Therefore, our pharmacist-elder advises them to take these pills constantly, which is why these medicines are in such high demand that I can’t keep up with bringing them from the warehouse… And how are you feeling: are you complaining, judging anyone, are you satisfied with everything?
