Three things steal Happiness from us: sadness for the past, anxiety about the future, and ingratitude for the present! The past is no more, the future has not yet arrived, only the present exists! The past is present in the present in the form of consequences (actions in the past), from the future – responsibility (towards what is to come)! Therefore, to achieve Happiness, one needs to root oneself in the present with gratitude and responsibility. Gratitude, because ‘today’ and everything in it (‘today’) is a gift from God (glory to God for everything! ‘Give thanks for everything!’). Responsibility – for ancestors and for descendants: for what our ancestors have passed down to us: both the evil (ancestral sins, passions that need healing – see Pt. I) and the good (ancestral virtues, which, accordingly, need to be multiplied); do not renounce them, multiply the good, and correct the mistakes and evil, and live so that descendants inherit the world – both spiritually and the ecological state of the universe in the best possible condition! Therefore, whatever we do: whether assessing the past or looking into the future – must serve the happiness of each and everyone! Since everything that a free being does, it does with the thought that this act brings them closer to happiness, does good to themselves, thus the author of these humble works, trying to be in gratitude and responsibility, taking the occasion to communicate with You, tries to say what is necessary for each to achieve happiness here and now.
Let us remind you again – three things steal Happiness from us: sadness for the past, anxiety about the future, and ingratitude for the present! All sober-minded beings can agree with the truthfulness of this statement because it is logically correct – the mind has no complaints about this statement.
But to put it simply, that is, with all their being (and not only rationally), only Christians can! Because only Christians are Happy! Why only Christians?! Let’s think about this together. Thus, to be Happy, one needs to ‘be here and now’! And ‘Is’, not ‘happens’ (changes), only He Who Is – The Existing One, Who says about Himself: I am That Who I Am! Therefore, the Only – God-Trinity, Personality!!! That is, only the one who is, who is god, i.e., who has become one with God, deified, who has become an hypostasis of the Church, the Body of Christ, i.e., the community of hypostatic beings; the one who contains all hypostatically, in the mystery of communication (perichoresis, interpenetration) within themselves and themselves resides in all. ‘That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us…’ – this is Happiness, the Kingdom of God, the goal to which God leads all creation! And this goal is achieved in the Church, in the Mystery of the Body of Christ, in the Eucharist! And Christians – these are the free hypostatic beings who live the parish life, the life of the Body of the Church, the Eucharist! Signs of Happiness – it is a state of responsibility and gratitude! Let’s see if these properties are inherent to Christians, i.e., whether they are responsible and grateful?! It turns out that only Christians are truly and absolutely responsible for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE, and grateful for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE! About responsibility, Christians say: that we are each guilty before each other in everything; we are each responsible before each other for everything and in everything! Why do they say this? Because they (Christians – V.A.) affirm that they recognize humanity (and the entire animate world) as a single whole, a single living organism, in which my neighbor, the other – is me (‘Love thy neighbor as thyself’), this is my life! My joy – the joy of all and everything, my sorrow – the sorrow of all, my pain – the pain of all, my sin – a burden that lies on the shoulders of all, a wound, the cause of suffering for all and everything… and vice versa: everything that is in the neighbor – is mine! About gratitude, Christians say: that they recognize God-Love, Who cares for His creation at every moment (ALWAYS) and leads it to Happiness, deification! Every moment and everything in it – is God’s
Gift. Since God is Love, then every His action-energy (all of them hypostatic) – is a Gift (Grace). He who is Love has only one motivation for his actions – Love, which means: to do everything for the happiness, bliss of all and each in particular, the fullness of being: joy, pleasure, freedom, truth… Whether this is true or not – is another question, but it’s up to each to check (but those who accepted the testimony of Christians, trusted them, and checked whether Jesus is indeed Christ the Son of the Living God – affirmed that God is true, and everything that Christians say – is truth)! But for two thousand years Christians incessantly proclaim the Gospel – Happiness, the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Love, the Resurrection, Life has come!!! (see appendix above).
Thus, to be Happy, one needs to be responsible for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, and grateful for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING!!! And this is possible (only Christians, only they, endowed with the power from Heaven, the power of the Holy Spirit, can have such thoughts, be in such a state!), as Christians affirm, only in the Church, in the Body of Christ, in the Mystery of hypostatic eternal life in Trinitarian Love! Therefore, it turns out that only Christians can be Happy, and if everything they affirm, about which they testify (namely: the Kingdom of God has come!), is truth, then they are already Happy (even more: doomed to Happiness)!
